Grade 6 – Cereal Box Advertisements

For their November book contract, Ms. Bull had students design cereal boxes to advertise the books they had read in their independent reading. They also created 3 collectible charms to represent the protagonist, conflict, and theme from the book. They presented their work in the form of a promotional TV advertisement that advertised both the cereal and the book. Enjoy!

Grade 3 Weather Newscasts

Students in Tracey’s third grade have been learning about different kinds of weather. Students, working in groups, selected one weather event to explain in detail. Using a “green screen” the students were videotaped in front of the screen describing their weather event. The students then selected one ideal background image and using iMovie, they created a weather newscast.
