Grade 2 Biographies

The second graders have been studying biographies and the life and times of famous people. Each student selected a biography to read and then designed a project to present to their classmates. Some students created videos while many others created posters and presented their person in character.

Grade 3 Monster Project with Karin Gravina

In Computer Information Literacy Class with Karin Gravina, students in Grade 3 created a monster using KidPix, wrote a detailed description of their creation, and then the description was given to another group of students who then had to re-create the monster without seeing the original picture.

To see all the monsters, please use the scroll bar within the Monsters slideshow or click on Full.

Kindergarten’s My House with Margot

Kindergarten has been studying places and the different customs and rules that each place can have. They began with their bedrooms, school playground and continued on with streets, towns, states, countries and of course, our world! They read the book “The Big Orange Splot” by Daniel Manus Pinkwater which begins with a street where everything is the same. The story ends with a street where each house is as unique as the people who live there. The students then created pictures of there home where they like to be.
