This month the fifth graders were responsible for choosing a topic to present to the school during our monthly assembly. They wrote and prepared some reflections and short skits on a topic of importance to them: students saying “hello” when seeing other students or staff at school. They did an excellent job. Below is their presentation.

Tracey Supple’s third grade class performed The Truth About the Moon by Clayton Bess. The play is about an African child who is told several stories about the moon but still feels he has not learned the truth about the moon. Bravo, third graders!

The students in Alissa Alteri Shea’s classroom have been learning how to write with focus, organization and detail. The students interviewed important people in their lives, wrote a short biography and created images to help illustrate their biography. Each student was recorded reading their biography.
