Over the past several weeks in Ruth Love Barer’s preschool classroom, the students have been studying dinosaurs, a topic that held a lot of interest for many children. The unit culminated with a short movie highlighting some of what they learned. Because some children were not interested in being filmed and due to time and scheduling constraints, not everyone participated in the movie. As Preschool completes more projects like this, other children will have ample opportunities to participate.

Tracey’s third graders just finished up a curriculum unit on weather.  To show what they learned, the students created a movie about tornadoes, hurricanes, droughts, floods, hail, and snowstorms.

The kindergarten learned all about the Chinese New Year – traditions, celebrations, food, and the zodiac. They created a book of facts to share with everyone.

They even celebrated with their 5th grade reading buddies by having a dragon parade!
