Students made a large pinch pot by hand. They then created clay “nesting” material with a garlic press and added this to the pot to enhance the illusion of a nest. Extra clay was employed to make eggs and even birds! The finished work was glazed and fired.

My daughter brought her Robin-In-The-Nest home and gave it to her Mom on Mother’s Day morning. What a successful project, Susan! Such impressive artwork by our 3rd graders. Many thanks to Karin for putting together this fabulous video so that we can see all the kids’ artwork.
